Introduction

Book of Mormon Heroes respects the privacy of individuals who visit or participate with this website and its offered services. Book of Mormon Heroes attempts to collect the bare minimum of personal data. Book of Mormon Heroes does not distribute or sell any of this information to any third party, Government, or Organization.

What data is being collected?

We collect only the bare minimum amount of information needed: Name is the only required pieces of personally identifiable information (PII). A nickname can be used in lieu of your real name.

How will the information be used?

Name: A name to help identify a user that he is logged in the app. User has the option of using their real name or not. Pseudonyms are ok!

We will never ask for your Credit Card Number, Social Security Number, Drivers license or other highly sensitive information. We do not need it, nor want it! Do not post this kind of information in our service.

Will the data be shared with any third parties?

In short, No. Not even your name.

How long will the data be stored for?

Data is stored for as long as the content in relevant. Since this is an app, we want to make sure that your account remains active for your use.

What rights does the data subject (a user) have?

All users have the right to have their PII removed from our systems which we specifically collect. We strong discourage submitting any information which could be considered PII or related to a user's privacy in the app. You are free and encouraged to use your nickname in lieu of your name.

Cookies will be used occasionally throughout the app. These cookies will be used for HTTP sessions, which are used for login identification purposes on the app.

SSL (TLS) - Book of Mormon Heroes uses TLS certificates for connecting to the API for communication between the app and the API service.

Security will be used to prevent all tampering of the system which the Book of Mormon Heroes app uses. If you give out your own password, then be aware that you have allowed your account to possibly be accessed. Book of Mormon Heroes cannot be held responsible for misuse and abuse of the system.
